Straight Panels
- PRE-ASSEMBLED panels are ordered and manufactured to CUSTOM lengths.
- Maximum span of 6'-0" (1829mm) centre to centre of posts.
- Comprising of two vertical flat bars 2-1/2 " (63.5mm) wide x 5/16" (8mm) thick at each end.
- Eight number 1" (25.4mm) O.D. x 0.059" (1.5mm) wall horizontal rails.
- 2-1/2" (63.5mm) O.D. x 0.059" (1.5mm) wall top rail.
- All exposed horizontal rail ends are tapped M8 (5/16") and mechanically fastened to vertical flat bars with M8 (5/16") Cap Screws, with the exception of the bottom two rails which are fastened with countersunk Allen Cap Screws.
- Welded mitred joints.
- Overall size is standard 1'-0" x 1'-0" (304.8mm).
- Otherwise as above.
- One piece casting.
- Stem tapped twice horizontally for M12 (15/32") to receive M12 (15/32") Cap Screws.
- M12 (15/32") Cap Screws are supplied together with the stem.
- The base is holed twice to receive 3/8" (M10) Diameter Hilti Anchors or equivalent (See Engineers Specifications provided).
- Anchors are not supplied as adhesive shelf life could expire prior to installation.
- These are supplied loose and are required at all terminations in the railing (both ends).
- Two number 5/8" (16mm) Diameter x 55/64" (22mm) long interlocking connection pieces with four M8 (5/16") Cap Screws are supplied. These are packaged with the Stem and Base plate.
- Available in Grade 304 for regular conditions and Grade 316 for aggressive conditions. Tubing, plate and castings are manufactured in accordance with the American Society For The Testing Of Metals (ASTM).
- All stainless steel is brushed to a fine number 4 finish (approximately 240 Grit). Circular sections are circumferentially brushed and the balance of the components are longitudinally brushed.
- 42" (1067mm) Overall.
- Shall be a minimum Grade A2-70, Fu= 101 ksi.
- System meets or exceeds the requirements of the International Building Code 2006.
